Define Liberty

Her Name is Liberty - She is the Emancipator                                                

Must we resign ourselves to the reality that a global effort in a collective binding supporting loving caring consciousness will only come about if we are all in the same pain?  If we are all on the same page.  If we see tangible evidence that we are all "in this together".  Maybe when visitors from another planet come to earth to lay stakes and demolish human beings we would see they came homeless and desperate. What would it be like then?  A mish-mash of  The Blob, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes and Mars Attacks maybe. Another defeat based on repeated ego drooling defense against the unknown. Misunderstood fear? Self-sufficiency instinctual overdrive?
But,
I'm looking for you.     I found out you are struggling somehow. Like me. Like us?
I wanted to know if you know...
It's my job.       It's why I like my job.
How can I find you, connect with you.
And try to help.    I don't have the fix but I was wondering, if we could somehow clear a ground
to sit and see where we are, we may find the
best direction to keep us moving....how can we connect

continue to hold onto the enabling reactions of fear; that viral beast that convinces the
Lies you can't succeed.
Lies you can't love.
Lies you can't get better.
Lies you can't help.
Lies you are alone.

You CAN do
All these things I've said to myself, students, emailed pep-talks, hooked into FB and Twitted and Blogged, and begged supervisors, faculty, students, stars...
stroked egos to squeeze them out.
I notice all these conferences and meetings and papers and articles and blah dee blah...
Like a recent one I found while stalking the info-interweb for active dead  words used today.

"The conference will focus on some of the innovative solutions being developed to:
-engage students and stakeholders 
-enhance learning, assessment and feedback -enhance digital literacies and employment potential 
-improve and sustain organisational efficiency 
-facilitate openness and sharing; and  
-manage organisational transformation"

Not evil, but I sometimes obsess over semantics, words, motives to...
Integrate  Engage  Direct.
None of it gets me excited. None of it sounds like new fun. Sounds like an easy "A" to me.
Of course, there should be a balance, but
the insides of a growing mind buy into the concept, and it's the delivery that sticks!
It can often be the delivery that sometimes stinks a rotten eggs perspective that induces
a cunning lethargy rather than encourage progressive thought.

Compared to the drones we hear about attacking without emotion, can we
begin to open our minds to our active daily "dronage", if you will, attacking
at whim realizing somehow that drones may be a natural direct result of our
active selfish passive aggression?  Yikes!
Perhaps...

So hold onto your wallets ladies and gents or at least leave your credit cards at home today.
Things may get a little out of hand if you should pass by a store with a big sale, or happen across a screaming deal online... I stole that from a horoscope I read a couple of days ago.
I read into it to embellish somewhat our spiritual socialized consumerism can work if it's the right investment.

It's the message, not the messenger
Fear tactics- You fail if you don't blah blah blah
You succeed unless you blah blah blah
But really, what is it all about?  Intelligent minds are wasting away without encouragement
to apply their minds and thoughts productively. No room for making mistakes.
This goes back to an experiential approach, I know, but no matter nature or nurture-
I am pretty convinced a kid's going to continue
to apply positive innovations if a motive is less about self and more about others.
I ask you, where's the love eh? I see the hate, the war, the creatures of murder, and
the living, dying, and dead collateral damaged from the consequences of the "what's in it for me" decisions.
These aren't new concepts, I recognize that too.

My point is that if I can't see much true engagement that doesn't mean its not out there.
Just not yet available.  My courage makes you more approachable, lovable, embraceable.
I know I'm not alone. I know you exist.  I want all of us to overcome the ho-hum
drum of the robotic arm that seems to have led some of us to an insanity that seems doable.

Exposure of love can be turned into the most shocking marketing
material we must buy no matter what the cost.
What will carry weight?
How to market love today not as a just a great lay, but like one of those really amazing big long lasting orgasm?
How to set a lasting example?
Choose any topic of discussion that plagues your heart; environment, war, disease, control, dishonesty, your lover or lack of one, money, education etc-
Write everything that you want. Create an outrageously idealistic fun solution which includes embracing the plague, and sell it!
